The Original Factory Shop was established in 1969 as part of Peter Black's selling over-makes and seconds manufactured for M&S.
Now with stores nationwide we offer a wide range of merchandise - Ladieswear, Menswear, Kidswear, Sportswear, Footwear, Electricals, Housewares, Toys and Gifts, Beauty and Fragrance - all discounted. Much of what we sell is either branded or was originally made for other high street stores and supermarkets. We offer smaller communities a department store that would not normally trade in small towns, offering people who are unable, or find it difficult to travel to bigger towns or out of town shopping centres, such as the elderly or young mums without a car a very effective alternative. We aim to be part of the local community, bringing local jobs for local people that would not normally be found, regenerating shopping centres that would otherwise remain empty, providing an increase in customer traffic for local retailers as well as ourselves and breathing life into these otherwise quiet streets. We have over 35 years of experience in trading in the area - retail, sevices and agriculture.
